We have now reopened the forum, with MiNT helping me, we should be able to get it back up on it's feet.

I've sent out a mass email inviting people to come back, so hopefully we'll see some activity soon.
Meanwhile, I better put the link back in my signatures.

If any of you members think something needs to be changed, etc, let me know.

Just wanted to annouce that I am making new themes for the forum based on the browsers we can discuss. So far there are Opera and Konqueror, next is IE.

To view it, simply change your theme via the Quick Theme changer at the bottom of the pages.

Feedback is wanted please!

I sucessfully upgraded these forums to MyBB 1.2.8. And as well made a new theme for default. I restored our old fox smilies, and am working on more plugins next.

Just a few updates to the forum. I've cleaned up the Firefox section a bit, added a Mozilla Thunderbird section, and changed the forum skin to have rounded corners.

Sooner or later I intend to make a new theme to add to the forum, to give it a new look and feel.

Ok, so we moved since Papa's server turned of the security image for guests when they register and post. That's why we were getting so many bots registering. Now that's fixed! :slick:

Plus the name is shorter too, now.

So, I've got to get the rest of the themes up, and finish uploading the plugins. Hopefully everything will be back in order here soon!

Well, March 15th is Firefox Forum's 1st year anniversary! Just thought I'd post a special topic for it.

Yay, we've been up one year! :gasp:

For Firefox Forum's first anniversary, we are going to have an all-day IRC chat for our members since people are at different time zones, it was very hard to pick a time so we picked ALL-DAY!

I have added a favicon to the forums, under rh1n0's suggestion! :thumbs: It's a little Firefox, so you should always be able to tell when you have Firefox Forums up!!

Ok, you know down by the browser images? I've added some OS images, so whatever you pick (Win, Mac, Linux) a icon will show up beside you're browser that shows what you are using. My icon is Windows Media Center Edition 2005, for example. :whistling:

Hey everyone!

I made up a new logo in The Gimp this morning. Already uploaded it to the Firefox Glow theme, wanted to get opinions on it before I proceeded.

It isn't too big is it?
And does anyone have any tagline ideas?
( Tagline = Firefox 2... Could it get any better? )


I got a few more surprises up my sleeve, but I don't know exactly when I'll be able to get them into progress, so you'll have to wait.

Anyway, can't wait to hear ya'll opinions on the new logo!

I think I've gotten everything done as far as images. Smileys, ect.
The only thing I see is the post icons.

At the request of a friend on another MyBB forum, I was asked to make new buttons for the Firefox Glow theme!
(Ok, ok. He actually wanted custom buttons, but these match with the Firefox glow theme so I'll call them Firefox Glow buttons!)

Anyway, they're rounded edges. If you're not on Firefox Glow theme, change to it real quick (with the theme changer on the bottom of the page) and tell me whatcha think of the new buttons!!!

Well, I got them back! Only now I added IE7, along with IE7's new little icon..
