Hi All,

I am sharing a funny incident of my life. It happened at the time when I was studying.

So it was an ordinary day at school, and I was going to my locker in between fifth and sixth hour for the school-wide locker clean-out. I didn't have much to clean, I just emptied my locker of a few homework assignments that seemed to be hiding in the back. So I was done cleaning and I went to my sixth hour class, which really isn't much of a class as it is independent study. Its just me and two other kids who were in seventh grade and take pre-calculus.

Well, the room I go to for sixth hour is a science room, so there are a few safety apparatuses to use, just in case:

There is an eye wash station if you get chemicals in your eye and a ventilation whood if you're working with things that give off fumes. The last safety device is the safety shower, which is nothing more than a slight depression in the floor where there is a drain, a showerhead overhead, and this metal rod thing that you pull which releases an enormous gush of water. I think you use it if your clothes get on fire or if you accidentally spill chemicals on yourself.

Anyhow, I was walking around the room, reading some science comics that were plastered to the wall. Well, I happened to slip on a rogue piece of cardboard that was lying on the floor, and I was spiralling out of control right towards the safety shower. I had no other choice, and plus I was a bit disoriented because I was spinning, so I grabbed on to the metal rod to stop myself from falling and WOOOOOSH A hundred gallons of cold water come down all over me!

I was standing there, not knowing what to do, and finally the teacher walks into the room and nearly drops his coffee. I was sent to the nurse and she gave me a big towel to wrap myself in. The nurse called my mother to let her know what happened, and she picked me up from school about twenty minutes later.

The worst part wasn't me getting wet, oh no. When I activated the safety shower, the door to the classroom was open, and you could see me directly from the doorway! There was a whole crowd of people outside the adjacent classroom, and they started laughing!

Hi All,

Has anybody ever come across an issue whereby you had a Firefox window open and, once finished browsing, you close it down (using the X at top right of screen), and after a while click on Firefox to start browsing again, and it says it's already running, so you can't open it.

This has happened to me a few times now, not frequently, but fairly regularly, perhaps once every 3 or 4 weeks. I simply end the process using Task Manager and am able to open Firefox again.

I'm certain it's not malware related as my McAfee scan is clean, and I regularly run Kaspersky online scanner, which is clean too.

Sound familiar to anybody?

Thanks,

5 Proven Tips dor Happy Married Life!!!

Just because you marry, it doesn't mean you must embrace everything about your partner. Sometimes, you forget about how different you two are because you've been together for so long. Don't lose your uniqueness because it's the same thing that attracted both you and your partner in the first place. Try to take on different interests and encourage your partner to do so too.

Point 2: Never be angry at the same time.

When you're angry, you hear nothing else and you don't care about anything else. If you find that both you and your partner are angry, try to have some space. Calm down. Then talk. Be sensitive to each other's ups and downs. Talk through the problem and hear each other out. Abandon the whole world rather than each other. And never go to sleep without settling the argument. Most importantly, never yell at each other unless the house is on fire.

Point 3: If you have to disagree, do it lovingly.

There will be lots of times when you and your spouse won't agree at all in some aspects. Don't make your point sound like a criticism to your partner. It doesn't matter who is wrong or right. Always bear in mind that an argument doesn't need a winner or a loser.
Point 4: Never bring up mistakes of the past.
Whenever something goes wrong, do not rub past issues in. Don't dwell over the past such that you become blind with the wonderful things ahead of your relationship.

Point 5: At least once every day, try to say one thoughtful or complimentary thing to your partner.

When a couple always spends time with each other, they often forget about courtesy. "Take the trash out. Do the laundry." Isn't there something missing in those phrases? Perhaps putting "Please" before each sentence would make it sound so much better. Never take each other for granted.
Showing constantly that you both like each other will help keep your relationship fresh. Even something as simple as complementing on your spouse's looks or buying little unexpected gifts can help. Look for the things that would make your partner feel appreciated.
How do you live by the guidelines stated earlier? Lower your pride. But don't get me wrong. Pride is a good thing. It keeps your head high in public. It's not a bad thing to have pride in someone or something. But in private, when you're with your partner, keep the pride level down; because it becomes a wall your partner would have to overcome.

Please read carefully.

Online play is not illegal and also it doesnt harm your computer.
I been gaming on my computer for 10 years or more or less no virus's have came through via games so your safe on online gaming the only things you have got to be aware of is going on websites your unsure about or are not advertized at all. Also if your anti virus says a website is harmful for your computer and you go on it you risk a virus or trojan or malware.
As long as you have anti virus or net security u should be a'ok.
Here are the Common virus occurences:
Recently adverts/popups claiming that they can protect your computer by scanning your computer for a performence check for free, don't click on it you will get 3 or more virus's.
Also adverts and popups that claim your computer is at risk with virus's malware etc and comes up with a list,DO NOT CLICK THEM you will get malware and numerous virus's as i found out on my old laptop, But luckily AVG 8.5 saved me and blocked the whole barrage and removed the threats. In the end though something must've came through from that advert. I rekon it was the cause of the "8 bit error" in a few weeks and then destroyed my hardrdive.
I had to get my old laptop fixed and repaired.

Hello!
I'm doing some home recording.....1 pc (Windows XP, Dell laptop, 2gigs RAM, 100g drive), M-Audio 410, Cubase 3sx, 2 keyboards, and my voice and guitar.
I'd like to use a drum program for my drum sounds.
Can you fine folks recommend something for me?
My preferences:
1) easy to use
2) I don't need to do much programming, would rather just select drum tracks and put them into the appropriate place in the song.
thoughts?
